Vacancy Porter – Fidelis Care (New York State Catholic Health) — New York,Queens, NY
Porter – 20 hours/week
The Porter is responsible for the maintenance of the Greater Metropolitan Regional corporate and satellite offices. The porter will provide a clean environment for Fidelis staff and visitors by maintaining cafeteria, rest-rooms, storage closets and hallways. Specifically, the porter will perform light maintenance duties including but is not limited to painting, changing of bulbs, vacuuming, mopping and cleaning unoccupied office space, window blinds and furniture. The porter will also relocates office furniture and equipment; prepare offices / workstations for new employees and assist the General Maintenance Worker with maintenance tasks as assigned.
The successful candidate will possess:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
- 1 – 3 years of related experience
- A valid New York State driver’s license
- The ability to lift 50 lbs
- The ability to operate high volume printers and copiers and troubleshoot if errors occur
